Jared Anderson set to make UK debut on undercard of Fabio Wardley vs Daniel Dubois world heavyweight title fight

Jared Anderson is set to box in Britain for the first time in Manchester on May 9.

The American heavyweight is on the verge of signing a deal with Queensberry Promotions which would see him fight next in the UK on the undercard of Fabio Wardley's world title defence against Daniel Dubois.

The deal would be a co-promotion with Top Rank and is expected to be announced this week.

Anderson is one of the best young heavyweights in the USA who has lost only once in 19 professional fights.

Seasoned contender Martin Bakole took a knockout victory over Anderson in 2024 but he came back with a 10 round points win over Marios Kollias last year.

Anderson is a formidable puncher himself, taking 15 of his 18 pro career victories inside the distance.

He's previously beaten former world champion Charles Martin and taken out Jerry Forrest, Andrii Rudenko and George Arias with rapid finishes.

Anderon is currently ranked at No 6 with the WBO and could look to force his way to an eventual shot at the world championship Britain's Wardley and Dubois will contest in May at the Co op Live Arena in Manchester.

Wardley is coming off a career-best win over Joseph Parker while Dubois is going straight back into a world title fight after losing his undisputed championship bout with Oleksandr Usyk last July.

Watch the Dubois-Harper and Scotney-Flores bill live on Your Site on Sunday April 5.
